María Mercedes (no Brasil: Maria Mercedes) é uma novela mexicana estrelada por Thalía em 1992 e produzida por Valentin Pimnstein e Carlos Sotomayor. É um remake da telenovela mexicana Rina, que por sua vez é baseada na história original da radionovela Enamorada, de Inés Rodena.
Gravada pela Televisa, foi a primeira novela da denominada "Trilogia das Marias" que conta também com as novelas Marimar e María la del Barrio, todas estreladas pela cantora Thalía.
Foi exibida no Brasil de 12 de Agosto a 10 de Novembro de 1996, pelo SBT, em aproximadamente, 80 capítulos e será reprisada no lugar de María la del Barrio em julho de 2012.
O tema musical, cantado por Thalía, leva o título da novela (María Mercedes) e foi incluído no disco Love.
A telenovela será reprisada a partir do dia16 de julho de 2012, sucedendo a novela Maria do Bairro nas tardes do SBT.

Michael Bay voltou a fazer drama e dizer que o quarto 'Transformers' será seu último.Vale lembrar que o diretor também disse que não voltaria para o terceiro, nem para este, acabou assinando contrato com o estúdio. Ao Hero Complex, Bay confirmou que este filme será diferente dos últimos três, apresentando uma nova visão dos robôs e um elenco totalmente novo.
Ele disse estar preparando o terreno para o próximo diretor a assumir a franquia.
O diretor Michael Bay pretende adicionar ainda mais ação em 'Transformers 4' - se é que é possível, e diminuir o humor do roteiro.
